Liberty Park - Bicentennial Park - Liberty, UT Ogden Valley

This is a park I've driven by a couple dozen times and hadn't made the time to give it chance.  However June 2013 I decided it was a great time to let the kids try it out.  Liberty is a small town on the north end of the Ogden Valley.  It is a beautiful area and the whole valley feels like a park.  Liberty Park (Liberty UT - Ogden Valley) has all the basic of a park; grass area for play and sports, drinking fountain, playground, seating and shelter for picnics, a few trees, great views and did I mention a small little fairground type facility for a rodeo.  Although I didn't see any bathrooms.  The design is simple and basic and for a small town, they're probably very excited just to have a park.  It did have a few posts to tie your horse too, you don't see that everywhere.  The playground has a tall and swirly slide, which has way too tight of curves for an adult.  My kids said they preferred the sand over the normal soft fall mulch.  Liberty does host they're 4th of July event at the park.
